I keep finding some great links and stories during the week, and I would love to start to use Saturdays as a way to share them with you. So, here is the inaugural Weekend Links for Crafty Garden Mama.

Mohonk Mountain House is a lovely resort in the Catskill Mountains of New York State. They have added to their beautiful outdoor spaces by creating a Children’s Garden. It’s a great touch to have this for kids to explore during their stay. They can check out the potatoes in the Eco-TV and see what the scratch and sniff flowers bring to their senses.

After I wrote about Getting Prepared this past spring, disaster preparedness has been on my mind. HGTV is launching a new show called Catastrophe, Inc. to show repairs that are done after disaster strikes. I’m curious to see the renovations and what tips they have to offer on being prepared. You can check out the show starting on July 14th at 10 am EST.
