One of the ways in which I am approaching making financial goals for 2013 is to be more creative with how we can generate some cash. Starting to run ads on the blog is one way, and selling my yarn is another. Now, every knitter I know has or will accumulate a yarn stash in his/her lifetime. But, the key to managing the stash is reflection. After having less time to knit in 2012, I set the goal for 2013 to be to part with some that I no longer need. Yes, this knitter is willing to let things go. 🙂
This is what the yarn stash of someone who has bought too much and who now has a two year old looks like.
After much reflection on what I like and no longer like, have a project for or don’t have a project for, it now looks like this. So, this is where Ravelry and my blog come in. Below, I have listed all of my yarns for sale. The picture is accompanied by a description of the type of yarn, color and dye lot and a price (which includes shipping within the US). I will also be listing everything for sale over on Ravelry. If you are interested in buying some, please email me at craftygardenmama@gmail.com with your inquiry and I will let you know if it is still available. Payment will be by PayPal and when payment is received, I will mail out the yarn. So, without further ado….happy shopping knitters, crocheters and crafters! If you have any financial resolutions or goals for 2013, feel free to share them on the linky at the bottom!

Ahhh! You’re killing me….I now want to BUY your stash when I should be looking at my own to see what I can sell:) I have thought about doing this so many times, but just haven’t a:) been able to part with any of them (even though I should) and b:) had the time to take pics of everything and catalog it. You may have given me the inspiration!
I have been really working hard to destash but you have so many lovely, lovely options! I am going to stick hard to my no spend January but come Feb 1st I may have to treat myself!
Are your skeins of Socks that Rock yarn sufficient to knit a whole PAIR???? What is the yardage…..The colors are gorgeous.
You can do a pair from one skein. The yardage is 380 yards.
You know Charlotte!
Small world!
Jen Hoff sent me the stash sale link. This is my first visit to this site and now I’ve been to yours as well. Wish I could make the time/effort to blog. I have a LOT to say about parenting (2 in college – see, they survived).
If only I knew how to knit…this yarn is gorgeous!
oh my, what gorgeous colours! i wish i could buy something, but i will spread the word of your amazing sale!
Wow! THAT is a lot of yarn! So pretty too! I guess that is like me and my cooking obsession…I have a million spices, sprinkles/decorations and cooking tools! Good luck!
My stash isn’t quite that BIG. But, I haven’t touched it in a year. Though I’m not quite ready to do anything about it. Yarn can be addictive though – it’s visual and tactile. Yes, very addictive.
VERY tempting, but I should NOT buy more yarn until I knit more stash busters.
Hello! If they’re still available, I would be interested in 3 balls of your Rowan Chunky Print in Wooly for $6 each. Thanks!
