Writing More Blog Posts in 2013

by Becky Elmuccio on January 5, 2013

For the next few Saturdays, I am going to be laying out my blog goals/resolutions for 2013. Today’s goal has  a few layers.

My first blog goal for 2013 is to write more. I have started to hit a groove with a posting schedule between Tuesday Greens and Wordless Wednesdays and TV Free Fridays. It helps me to organize what I am writing and not feel at a loss for what to write.

Time to finish this Blog Challenge

My next step will be to start writing some posts on the weekends. I signed up last summer for a Summer Blog Challenge through Going Green with the Grizls. I did a fair share of them, which are here, but have a good portion left to do. Kassandra had some great prompts that allow me to step out of my usual writing themes and I’d like to give it another go to finish it. So, after the 31 Days of Resolutions are over, I’ll cycle back into these and complete the challenge.

In addition to finishing these posts, I am going to continue to plan my posts using an editorial calendar that I have set up. Planning ahead helps me to stay on top of what I want to write. This will be especially helpful when I want to write gardening tutorials when spring arrives.

I am happy to have found what works for me to be organized and prolific. If you are a blogger, how do you find your writing zone? How do you stay in it? Feel free to link up your blog resolutions/goals below in the linky and have a great weekend!
