Blog Goals for 2013

by Becky Elmuccio on January 12, 2013

I am excited to start a new chapter in my blog. It’s been fun taking the steps to making my blog become monetized. In the fall, I switched over from Blogger to WordPress in order to have more control over my content. I’ve been tweaking with the design of the blog and even created my own header and button.

So, there are a few more things that I would like to do in the next few months in order to take Crafty Garden Mama into its next development.

1. Sign up with Affiliate programs. I have already started with some in my affiliate section over in my sidebar. I’ll be looking at some other programs that are in my wheelhouse and in which I believe and apply to those as well.

2. Attend Type-A Advanced in Philly this spring. The theme is Profit and I look forward to learning from Kelby and my fellow bloggers. I went to Bloggy Boot Camp last year and it was a fantastic way to set goals and assess my blog at the same time.

3. Apply what I have learned from The Digital Mom Handbook: How to Blog, Vlog, Tweet, and Facebook Your Way to a Dream Career at Home. This book has been an amazing resource for me to read and from which to learn. Now I need to take what I absorbed and get to it.

4. Brainstorm some eBook ideas. I have a lot swirling around in my head for this. Now, I need to put pen to paper or finger to keyboard and begin to draft out ideas and see what will work best.

If you have a blog, what are some of your blogging goals for 2013? How are you making them happen?
