My Most Recent Moment of Pride

The other day, I came home from my first Masters’ swim practice. I hadn’t been in a pool to train or workout in several years. When I came into the house, Tomato asked where I had been. I told her that I had gone for a swim at the pool. I showed her my swimsuit and she threw her hands in the air and yelled, “Yay, Mommy!” I never felt better about exercising or setting an example for my daughter. Yay, me!
