Why am I doing this Summer Blog Challenge?
As I have been building this blog, I have been building my community online. I have found some great link ups over the past few weeks. I love the blogs that I have discovered and the interaction that I have had with new readers here has been fantastic. So, when I happened upon the 2012 Summer Blog Challenge over on Going Green with the Grizls, I knew it was a great fit for me.
The challenge runs from June 1st through August 31st this summer and each day has a writing prompt. So, you may even start to see two posts a day here while I play a little catch up and still post my own garden updates, green toy/gear/clothing reviews and cover other environmental issues. I am excited to push my writing, help myself develop an editorial calendar and see what the other bloggers in the challenge have to offer.
