We are almost at my favorite late spring bloom time in the garden. Peonies are one of my favorites because of the visual beauty of the petals and the amazing smell. Looks like later this week will be the time that they emerge on our plants.

Hi there, I just happened on to your blog, and I am so glad that I did. I love finding new blogs and starting a blogging journey with a new friend. I do have a question for you . . .I have three peony plants, but the problem I have each year is that the buds come on and then dry up, or just do not open. Am I watering to much, or maybe they did to only be water at the root (not by the sprinkler). . . it’s a mystery to me that I would love to solve. I think that they are one of the most beautiful flowers, ever, and it makes me sad that mine never seem to mature and bloom as they should. I would love any advice you might have.
